Getting to Kensington Campus From the City Centre: From Circular Quay these bus routes pass through the city along Elizabeth Street and then along Anzac Parade to the UNSW Kensington campus: routes 390, 391, 392, 394, 396, 397, 398, and 399. Buses from the city take around 20-30 minutes for the journey and the cost is $2.70. Between am and 11 pm a bus on one of these routes passes the Kensington campus every 10 minutes. A taxi from the city costs around $12 and takes around 15-20 minutes for the journey. From Central Railway Station: Bus Routes 391, 393, and 395 travel to the UNSW Kensington campus. The journey takes 20-25 minutes and costs $1.60. Between 7am and 7pm buses operate at approximately 10 minute intervals on these services After 7pm buses operate every 20-30 minutes. A taxi from Central Railway Station takes 15-20 minutes and costs around $11. From the Airport: Bus route number 400, traveling between the airport and Bondi Junction passes along Anzac Parade and stops at the Anzac Gate. The journey takes around 30 minutes and costs $2.70. Between 7am and 7pm these buses operate every 20 minutes. A taxi from the airport costs around $15.00 and takes 20-25 minutes. Once you are at UNSW The Kensington Campus is large and can seem a little daunting at first. However, now that the University Mall has been completed, navigating your way around is much easier. The Department of Aviation's offices are situated on the top floor of the Main Building (see map 1 below). The reception is open from 09:00 until 17:00 for all inquiries. If you want to make an appointment to see a specific member of staff, then it is advisable to telephone in advance. If you are driving, you will need to access Campus via Gate 14 on Barker Street. There is visitor parking available on campus at a cost of $4 for up to 5 hours, pay and display (you will need coins). There is also a limited amount of street parking available nearby including some 1 hour spaces. Getting to the Bankstown From Bankstown Railway Station: A taxi from Bankstown Railway Station costs around $8.00 and takes 5-10 minutes. A Route 905 bus also operates from Bankstown Railway Station to the airport. Please visit the Transit First website for further information. By Car: From the M5 'South Western Motorway' take Henry Lawson Drive (Route 55) North through Milperra. (See Gregory's Page 397) You will pass two sets of traffic lights before coming to the intersection with New Bridge Rd, Milperra Rd and Henry Lawson Drive. Stay on Henry Lawson Drive and proceed through the traffic lights. You will soon come across a turning on the right called Tower Road. This is next to a large Petrol Station. Follow this perimeter road around the airfield past the end of the three runways and locate Airport Ave. The new location of UNSW Aviation at Bankstown Airport is in Hangar 135, on Aviation Place, off Stinson Cres towards the southern end.
