GENS5001 - Aviation : Behind the Scenes Aims The aim of this 3 UoC course is to introduce students to the key aspects of the modern aviation industry and consider the social impact of aviation. Exclusions Students enrolled into the Bachelor of Aviation (Flying/Management) program are excluded from enrolling into GENS5001. Lecturer in Charge The Lecturer in Charge is Mr. Antony Glambedakis of the Department of Aviation. Antony can be contacted by telephone on (02)9385 6767 or via e-mail at s3237877@unsw.edu.au Both academic and industry-based lecturers may be used throughout the course. Location This course runs for fourteen weeks in Session 1, 2008. Lectures are held in: Mathews Building, Room 310 at 0900hrs - 1100hrs on Wednesdays. A field trip to Sydney Airport (transport provided) will take place on Saturday 19th April 2008. Assessment To be advised. Information regarding the assessments will be detailed in the Course Outline which will be distributed at a later date.
