AVIA 2210 Aviation Human Factors 2

Aims

This 3 UoC course aims to help students develop:

  1. An advanced understanding of aviation human factors; and
  2. Skills for implementing human factors knowledge in sociotechnical systems.
Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of human factors within aviation and other sociotechnical systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the application of human factors principles to the problems facing human performance in modern sociotechnical systems.
  • Work as part of a small group to evaluate ‘group’ human factor issues including organisational culture and safety culture.

This course runs for fourteen weeks in Session 2 2007.

Lectures are held in: Red Centre Theatre at 1100 - 1300 on Wednesday.
