The UNSW School of Aviation values high schools, teachers careers advisors and students. In this section of our web site we have collated material and resources especially for these groups. Just click the links to find out more.

School Visits and Information Days
We can arrange for a staff member to visit your school to give a short presentation and answer questions regarding our Bachelor of Aviation Flying or Management.

Year 10 to 12 Aviation Short Course
Presented by the UNSW School of Aviation, this two day short course will be delivered to secondary students during the September school holiday break. The course is aimed at those interested in a future career in the aviation industry, and will outline some of the current issues facing the industry today. UNSW School of Aviation is proud to be supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service (SE Section) with the donation of 100% of the registration fees for this course.

UNSW Open Day
UNSW Open Day is your chance to see the university up-close: meet the lecturers and talk to students. It is an opportunity to get your questions answered and find the right information to help you choose your ideal program at UNSW. Come to Open Day and take a closer look at what life has to offer at UNSW. The Open Day will be held at the Kensington Campus.

UNSW Aviation Open Day at Bankstown Airport
Prospective flying students and family are invited to an Open Day to be held at our UNSW Flying Training Facility, at Building 570, Airport Avenue, Bankstown Airport. Attendees will have the opportunity to inspect our facilities as well as our new fleet of Diamond aeroplanes, and chat with instructors.

Hong Kong Future Pilot Program
By special arrangement with the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, UNSW Aviation offers an opportunity for Hong Kong High School students to participate in a 2-week program of pilot training comprising theory and dual flying.
