About André


André Younes is Executive Manager of Operations Design, at Western Sydney Airport. He is an enthusiastic people leader in large-scale complex operational environments, with over 28 years’ experience in Aviation and Transport Industries. His expertise includes managing large matrix teams across multifaceted operations, including capacity planning, maximising airline and airport operations, and delivery of major commissioning programs from senior roles at Sydney Airport, Australian Slot Coordination, Sydney Trains and Transport for NSW.

Andre’s experience includes Chair and membership roles in various Industry stakeholder working groups and committees, including IATA congested airports, Federal Government Sydney Airport demand management compliance, and major event facilitation and infrastructure readiness forums. This includes the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), World Youth Day, Sydney Olympics, and significant operational change readiness programs, including the A380 introduction.

An Aviation professional and enthusiast, André brings his highly developed expertise and personable engagement across operational and commercial transport domains. He facilitates valuable discussion depth including, strategic and tactical considerations, risk management, business improvement change programs, and core customer knowledge enabling constructive stakeholder engagement as a trusted Aviation leader.
